Invocation and Instructions to the Audience

I'm beginning this new blog at the suggestion of Jeff Ford, who's really curious about my experience playing Caliban in an upcoming production of The Tempest. I'm curious, too. This will give me a place to chronicle the day-to-day joys and frustrations of rehearsal and performance, as well as a place to store ideas and thoughts coming out of the experience, and perhaps even some photographs (if anybody will let me borrow their camera).

I'm very much hoping this doesn't just become horribly narcissistic. Since I'm making it all public, I'm hoping that it will be perhaps helpful and at least interesting to someone other than me. We'll see.
